Education

The school was started in 2008 in temporary accommodation, and Acacia Partnership Trust helped build and run the school.  Our vision is to offer “the best for the least”, giving the neediest children the best education in an attractive, secure and loving environment.

Despite terror threats, the primary school continues its academic success as one of the top primary schools in the north of the country.  The secondary school has now been running five years and has recently had its first graduating class (GCSE equivalence).  APT will continue to supporting the running of the school to ensure that the poorest do not miss out through lack of resources.

This will cost about £5,000/year.

Great news:  APT was able to secure the £35,000 necessary to build a boundary wall for the school, to increase security and protection for children and staff, increasingly necessary as terror attacks continue to cause much fear and disruption.  The wall was completed in the spring 2022 and the entire community is very thankful.

In addition, APT also received funding to add a Nursery School to the current Wakkil Alla School.  Though work was completed towards the end of 2022, it has yet to open to staff and students owing to the continuing terror threats.
